Situated in the charming Bollington conservation area, this project reimagines a classic stone house with breathtaking views of White Nancy. In collaboration with Band Architects, we are redesigning, extending, and modernizing this property while respecting its historic character.

 

The front façade, facing the main road, is being carefully restored with a full stone repoint and the installation of new sash windows, preserving its timeless appeal. At the rear, a striking two-story extension and a single-story side extension add a modern edge. Featuring contemporary brickwork that complements the original stone, large glazing panels frame stunning views, and timber cladding introduces a sleek, modern aesthetic.

 

Inside, the property is undergoing a complete refurbishment. Highlights include a new staircase, upgraded insulation for floors and walls, and a traditional stone-slab reroof enhanced with modern insulation. The rear extension also boasts a roof terrace, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and White Nancy.

 

This project seamlessly blends heritage craftsmanship with contemporary design, creating a home that honours its past while embracing the future.
